Musicology organized a special session by prominent guitarist Sanjay Joseph. During the session, Sanjay shared his experience and musical wisdom with Musicology students. A respected name in Indian music industry, Sanjay started his career with a band named “Ezee meat”. Contrary to the new wave of Indian Rock bands, Ezee meat was one of India’s pioneer rock bands. Apart from playing at numerous gigs countrywide, Sanjay has worked and played with the who’s who of the Indian music industry. The students thoroughly enjoyed this workshop and learned many practical aspects of professional performance & recordings.

Musicology, celebrated "Welcome new year week" and different competitions were organized during the entire week. Children were given different challenges in performances, theory of music and other categories in this competition organized by the school. A large number of students participated in these contests and the winners received awards by Musicology director Anurag Dixit. Students from age group 5 to 18 performed songs ranging from Western classical to western contemporary and Bollywood hits like "Socha hai","Pal", Kabh kabhi Aditi", "My heart will go on", "Every breath you take", and "Leaving on a jet plane" etc. The winners received Gold, silver & bronze medals in different categories.

17TH April 2007 Kamani auditorium, New Delhi, saw more than 200 students of Musicology perform to various songs and leave an audience of over 800 people craving for more.
